We are a visual communication, motion graphic and animation, studio located on North Main St. in the centre of Cork City, Ireland. We believe good choices are dependent on good info, and good info needs excellent communication. That's where visuals come in. We found a way to combine our creative passion for visuals with organisations' need for clear and concise communication. Thus Get Visual was born. We've found our perfect product-market-fit, and we greatly dedicate ourselves to our work because not only do we love what we do, we know we can be of great help to people.

I have spent most of my career working in communications and media for the Educational and Charity sectors. The power of clear communication and the damage done by lack of clarity astounded me and I have endeavoured to improve my own and to try to help others do the same.

Myrdin Steenkamp
I’ve always been fascinated by moving images. While dabbling in traditional animation in my early teens, I quickly became obsessed & directed all my energy towards developing that skill. I had the privilege of being educated in a school which allowed students to follow their own passions & that allowed me to put all my focus in animation & graphics. I avoided college & went straight into the industry, where I now solely animate digitally, but I still love to mix mediums when the possibility is there.

3D Designer & Illustrator

Barry McCarthy
​I have created animations & illustrations for broadcast, cinema, music video, architecture & Pharma. I love taking ideas, concepts & sketches & modelling them into tangible moving objects that give the viewer a three-dimensional world in which to explore them. ​

External Animators & Projection Mappers

As projects require, we adapt to employ off-site free-lance info-graphics personnel & animators. It is our goal to hire full-time in-house as much as possible, & we aim to find, or develop, staff with the skills needed to contribute to our work. We do this as locally as possible so as to support the local economy & community. People are of fundamental importance to us, & we hire very carefully.
