The Face Place
We branded The Face Place to appeal to 25-35 year-old women who are looking for a simple organic skincare. The brand identity needed to be simple and clean to reflect the mission of The Face Place, as well as reflect the freshness of the ingredients used in the products. Since there was a wide range of skincare products, the branding needed to be flexible so that it could be applied in a variety of packaging styles.
Two variations; a wordmark and a combination logo, were created for the logo so that it could easily adhere to different packaging designs. The wordmark is the brand name on its own, and the combination logo is the symbol and brand name combined. The wordmark was created with a sans serif font with rounded strokes that looks pristine. The combination logo created was a clean, symmetrical Lotus symbol with the brand name wrapped around the symbol with two arcs on either side. This made the logo instantly identifiable, and it also worked well on all packaging styles. The lotus symbol can also be used on its own as the main identifying mark for The Face Place. The brand colours were carefully chosen with the brand values in mind, in order to maintain a harmonious identity across all channels. |
R.Sen The Poet Logo Design
This logo was created for our client who sought an image to encapsulate her work. So far, so normal. However, this time the client was a poet.
The brief was to design a soft logo with the main element being a lotus flower. Since there was no previous logo used, it was important to establish a logo that would be both striking and memorable in the eyes of their audience. For this reason, we incorporated our client’s signature in the logo so that their audience can easily recognise it. The lotus is designed using delicate strokes that work well with the brief. A gradient was developed into the logo to reflect the aliveness of the lotus flower in nature. Background Image by rawpixel.com on Freepik

Amalgamate
Amalgamate was created to fulfil the need of every millennial woman with a busy lifestyle. Those who want to look casual yet 'put together'. We were asked to deliver a unique and elegant look which would stand out on its own, when compared to its competition: the likes of ASOS, PACT, REFORMATION, etc.
In order to create a brand identity that would reach the target audience, we used a strategy that combined Amalgamates’ Brand Values and its competitor's best visual features to create an identity that is certain to succeed in the market. To go with this, we made the logo using a sans serif font that is modern and elegant. The logo also contains a hidden component that visually connects to the definition of Amalgamate. It is the line extending from the 'A' all the way to the end of the word to the 'E'. The line subtly represents how Amalgamate weaves together the perfect outfit. |
